The lateMonte Guynes, founder of ArtQuest, inspired and mentored many aspiring artists both locally and across the country. Monte chose a handful of his most serious, dedicated and ambitious students to create the ArtQuest group. The members of ArtQuest include Diane Abbott, Christine Braziel, Ginger Schedler and Woody Finnigan. The group was created with the purpose of learning, teaching, having fun, sharing, and promoting art in the community. Each artist has pledged to donate a percentage of the sales of the art to a favorite charity. Monte's legacy lives on through the many ArtQuest activities throughout the San Joaquin Valley and beyond.
