Fresno born artist, Patricia Folsom developed a passion for watercolor painting as a way to express her love of landscapes. Ignited by the talent and direction of several local and Sierran artists, Ms. Folsom has directed much of her creative energies into translating the beauty of Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne meadows, the east side of the Sierras and the San Joaquin Valley into exciting and meaningful expressions.
Contributing to her artistic path have been the appreciated teachings of Monte Guynes, Jane Gyer, Fealing Lin and Tom Fong as well as the written legacy of Edgar Whitney and Tony Couch.
